Cabbage Skillet Dinner | Quick and Simple Recipe



This quick and easy recipe is sure to please any cabbage loving family. Only takes about 35 minutes from start to finish so this cabbage favorite can be whipped up in no time.

Ingredients:

1/2 Head of Cabbage chopped

1 lb. of ground turkey or hamburger

1 14 oz. can of diced tomatoes

8 oz. can of tomato sauce

1 tablespoon of minced garlic

1 yellow onion chopped

salt and pepper

1 tablespoon of butter


Directions:


1. In a skillet, brown the meat and drain grease as necessary.

2. Add the chopped onions and cook until translucent.

3. Add the minced garlic and saute for 1 minutes

4. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well and cover for 25-30 minutes until cabbage is soft.

5. Stir every couple of minutes until finished.



Serve and Enjoy!!!  The leftovers are even better  :)



Optional add-ins:


Pasta Sauce for extra flavor (I sometimes add some Ragu in)

A handful of chopped peppers (orange or red)
